I. A Survey of the Project: Songyuan-Shitoujingzi (Jilin-Inner Mongolia border) Expressway is a section of Hunchun-Ulan Hot National Expressway. Economically and socially, it is an important transportation passage from Changchun to the west of our province and the east of Inner Mongolia. It will also be an important part of the future second Euro-Asia Continental Bridge. The construction of this project is very meaningful for the mutual supplement of regional economy in this area, for the integration of regional economy, and for the full exertion of the functions of this transportation passage. The total length of this expressway is 246 kilometers. It will be built into a standard four-lane expressway. The period of construction is from 2007 to 2012. At present, the Preparatory Feasibility Report is being compiled.

III. Total Investment of the Project: The estimated investment is RMB 7.4 billion Yuan, equivalent to USD 0.93 billion (one US dollar for eight RMB Yuan).
